B2Share Nordic Newsletter 20140904
September 4th, 2014
The B2Share Nordic project aims to engage Nordic research communities into customizing the B2Share file sharing service, developed by EUDAT, to best suit the need of Nordic researchers. The project is owned by NeIC - Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration.
The project is nearing it's end, albeit we may continue a little longer in order to fully incorporate some of the remaining communities. The steering board meeting will be held September 4th and the draft of the project final report can be found at: https://wiki.neic.no/wiki/B2Share_Nordic. The steering group will give a recommendation regarding a possible extension of the project.
Communities so far participating are BBMRI (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure), NRM (Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, Sweden, EPOS (European Plate Observing System, Finland) and GBIF(Global Biodiversity Information Facility, Norway, still in preparation) which we consider a really good result.
