Agenda approved.

2. Conference statement

• Status and next steps
• Comments given before have been implemented
• The revised statement is sent to the six ministries as well as Nordic Council of Ministries for approval with a short deadline of two weeks
  • Slow process even though the recent changes have been very minor, and there has been ample time to read and approve (since October 2021)
  • A plan B might be good to have, in case the ministry-level approval does not make it in time
    • Plan B: Statement backed up by the Conference Programme committee
• Big news: The statement is a candidate for a common ministerial declaration by the Education & Research ministries in the Nordics
