2. Conference statement

  • Status and next steps
  • The current version (sent to the committee on 23 February) has been updated with comments from SE and FI
    • NO comments have not yet been implemented
      • How to address the goal of being a global role-model; “Nordic, but not only Nordic”
    • DK, EE, IS comments still pending
    • Comments received so far are mostly on the subject and by e-infrastructure specialists, not on the political level
    • Some comments on the statement from Nordic Council of Ministers to be expected later this week
    • Some changes were suggested during the meeting to stick more to the conference theme, Nordic Models for Open Science Collaboration
  • Going forward with the statement:
    • Statement will be updated with the comments brought up during the meeting
    • The right people should be identified and invited to back up the statement
      • Most likely ministries of research, but might also be ministries related to digitalisation
