Raymond to Openstack operators meeting (Switch)

Difficult to use HPC accounting system Users get a default Snic Coin allocation People start their VM:s and forget about them. Last time we ran Rally in production it broke some stuff. With newton release Rally doent work CSC also put Rally on hold.

CSC is close to put object storage in production

UH IaaS is running Newton as well as Uppmax and CSC puppet upgrade at UH IaaS puppet3->4 most openstack modules work fine testing takes time a lot of templates stop working RK: could give a few hints RK:could help when CSC and Uppmax get problems Uppsala uses only Ansible

Is Monasca interesting Listen to feedback from people going to Vancouver Salman: will not be a priority for Uppmax Uppmax want to put focus on security Raymon: not a priority looks inactive some of the OpenStack projects look at Celometer and gnocci

Celometer is more platform monitoring system Monasca i CSC has a separate grafana system UHIaaS use graphite Uppmax couldn't handel openstack ansible config for Ceilometer and Gnocci
