- Daniels architecture review continue
Please see attachment (done in creately.com) The picture assumes there would be a central portal for user identification to Glenna infrastructure components However during Glenna's current tenure until September 2016 no plans are made for a central portal. Users will identify themselves directly to the service provider through Kalmar2 and the users organizational IdP. In the future though a central hub may be necessary, e.g. if users are allocated specific cloud quotas. For the moment however, the most important focus in the project is getting services accessible and on-line
Daniel will make a new picture indicating thas identification will be user centered and not portal centered.
Q: how are users blacklisted in Kalmar2?
Q: should "everyone" have access to all resources, and if not how do we limit access in the current architecture?
- Uwe on image bakery: snapshots can be converted to loadable images (need to be cleaned up)
