Glenna Weekly Meeting - Adobe Connect Participants: Uwe Grawert, Risto Laurikainen, Thomas Röblitz, Dan Still (PM & secretary)

AP on Thomas to scout for person from Sigma.

Thomas number: +47 41410799 (mobile)

RL & TR: T1.2. component system evaluations: are there any other systems than Open Stack ? Doesn't make sense to do this everyone seems to work on Open Stack

TR: in workpackage 1 put more focus on knowledge sharing, how to automate things. RL: Use puppet for config management, could potentially be re-used. Needs work in order to be more generic, currently tied to CSC Pouta cloud. Fuel from Mirantis for deployment automation.

UG: Is the idea with Glenna to have a reference setup or a real working production system? DS: The idea is to a have a real accessible cloud resource accessible through some federated authentication mechanism i.e. Kalmar2, Haka, ...

TR: the idea with the Norwegian cloud is general use intended for the infrastructure in Norway, only Linux guest os:s RL: planning on Windows guests: this week is planned for testing with windows and customers

We need to find persons who are responsible for these work packages and have them refine them.

WP4 find someone to take responsibility

Decision: WP1(TR: looks relatively easy), WP2 federated resources to Norway. WP0

DS: the assumption is that the persons working on the plan also responsible for coordinating it DS: Draft project plan ready by 1st of December

Risto WP3: confusing collection of various unrelated things, largest WP one could easily be split up and made more coherent security should be taken into account in everything could potentially be 3 different WP:s here.

Decision: WP3 to Finland, get going split it into multiple work packages and think about who does what (AP on Risto).

RL: User traing should be started at an early level. TR: Concerning WP6 user training. Look at what is in place on the national level and move that to the Nordic level and see how we refine the docs.

UG: where should documentation be put? TR: suggestion: use Wiki for common documentation Ask around about the documentation system for checking out/in documents

AP: on Dan to talk to Damien about documentation WP.

TR: on WP5 someone from the Nordic Tier1 interesting or relevant task in this WP. SGAS or equivalent

RL: rather figure out what is a good fit for the Cloud world

Thomas: synchronize with the Shared Tier-1

Those reponsible for a workpackage could be at Arlanda
