Thomas discussed kalmar2 authentication and access from UiO to data.deic.dk with a representative from the security department? coordinated under the IT director. Message from UiO meeting: they have to follow the Norwegian law. Access to data.deic.dk is not at the moment possible from UiO without UiO personnel opening up access to their IdP. Thomas will get a document requesting info on data.deic.dk and interest was shown towards the project and it's objectives regarding federated services. The project could invite someone from UiO security to a meeting or equiv.

In the end it would be acceptable to demonstrate that we have a couple of examples where we have access more important outcome how to clear all these administrative legal issues i.e. make sure that the national law is followed.

However access to data.deic.dk from Bergen works (!)

Question two fold in Norway 1) IT security 2) Handling personal data about people.

In WP2 it would be useful to list the steps needed to take in order to gain access. From the WP2 perspective it would be important to inform how to clear all the administrative legal issues and make sure that the national law is followed

Feide connect will improve the situation at least for testing purposes. Feide Connect can allow only users from a specific institution to connect towards the services.

Opening up the UiO Lifeportal is on-going. HAKA authentication does not yet work, But Nikolay from UiO is on the case.

  • AP Thomas: to contact Kalmar2 get them to explain why few institutions from Norway and Sweden
  • AP Dan: investigate EduGain vs. Kalmar2
  • AP: Ingemar: Fill in the Swedish parts in the table
  • AP Dan: produce a breakdown&story of list of needed attributes in Kalmar2
