- review of action points

- Sweden (Umeå) to join WP2

Recap:

after describing what is in use and we know what the requirements are, one can look into the technologies that are available, i.e. start with registering the state of the different cloud resources and how they could go into user federated identity, we could add the study of requirements for the specific use case we are talking about and collect those requirements.

- investigate progress on the list of resources in the Nordics and how is ID done currently and what the plans are for attaching federated login.

Ideas:

discuss how to potentially limit access to services overview of systems and/or potential systems where SAML is in use describe the authentication means they at the moment support some description of Kalmar2 and the national systems

the needed attributes what the federation exposes make a plan how to go forwad

the premise is that it will work in Kalmar2

starting point : demonstrate that individuals can authenticate i.e to DeIC or to Lifeportal

those where it's not yet working need to learn from those where it's not working

describe federation systems being used

  • list potential mismatches in SP attribute expectations
  • make a plan how to go forward for every user from the Nordics have access to these systems
  • this would happen via Kalmar2
  • what actions are needed to move forward

Investigate what attributes are needed and easily to agree on (reference: Kalmar2) Consequently the SP could evaluate: do we really need this attribute

Ingemar: the SP can send within the request a list of the required attributes and if implementation is poor the IDP will not realese all the attributes needed. issue: There are a few standards on naming the attributes In the Kalmar2 region there is defined a set of attributes that everyone should provide

reason why swedish Universities are not in Kalmar is that they are in Swamid and so far have not seen a need to join Kalmar
