Since 2014 NeIC uses the Tieto PPS model and vocabulary for most if its activities.

PPS was chosen because it derives from and is highly similar to project models used in many Nordic tech sector companies (from having been developed by Enator/Tieto who have done consultancy / collaborated / delivered to these companies) so using it should be least-surprises to most. So training in this model should be valuable both to partner organizations and to the CVs of individual staff receiving the training. The professional translations to most Nordic native languages that are available on-the-fly is was also seen as valuable.

The NeIC adaptions are:

  • The project directive is an attachment to the collaboration agreement, a.k.a. the partner contract.
  • NeIC is always project owner.
  • Other partners are both resource owners of project personnel, and orderers.
  • The project steering group is formed by partner representatives, which is to say representatives for the co-funding organisations.
  • Resource owners are bound to deliver services to the project by service contracts for the services of named personnel.
